Batik and Sip
Take a break before the end of the year and try your hand at batik, one of Indonesia's best-known traditional art forms.
In this relaxed two-hour session, you'll learn the basics of batik painting and create your own piece to take home. No experience needed. We'll walk you through the process step by step, and all materials are provided.
While you work, you can enjoy a cup of jamu, a traditional Indonesian herbal drink made with ingredients like turmeric and ginger. It's been part of everyday life in Indonesia for centuries, and it's a nice way to get a taste of the culture beyond the art.
Come on your own or bring a friend. It's a great chance to meet people, learn something new, and slow down for an afternoon.
